John Zierow joined the NEWS CENTER team in June 2010 as a Multimedia Journalist.
Before reporting in Maine John worked at KNAZ 2 NEWS in Flagstaff, Arizona. He earned a B.S. degree in Electronic Media and Film with a minor in Public Relations at the University of Northern Arizona.
John grew up in Washington state and Montana. Prior to being a journalist he worked as a still photographer. He has a passion for history, learning and story telling.
John says he was drawn to Maine because of his love of nature and the ocean. In his free time he enjoys playing his guitar, riding his motorcycle and painting.
