ARUNDEL, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- A baby boy from Arundel was taken off life support early this morning at Maine Medical Center. Ethan Henderson's death is now considered a homicide.
State Police say his 23 -year old father is behind bars accused of assaulting the infant. Gordon Collins Faunce was ordered held on $100,000 cash bail during his arraignment yesterday.
Later today, the state Attorney General could upgrade those charges to homicide.
Rescue crews were called to his home Saturday where they found his 10-week-old unresponsive.
Authorities removed 2 other children from the home, including the baby's twin brother, and put them in state care. Collins Faunce lived in the Arundel home with the baby's mother Christina Henderson.
