HANCOCK, N.H. (AP) -- Officials in Hancock, N.H., are dedicating a renovated bridge to a former longtime resident.
The Betty Pels Bridge dedication is 2 p.m. Sunday.
Pels died in March at age 85. She was race director for an event known as the Hancock Run for the Honey for more than 20 years, in addition to holding other community positions.
The annual race had used the bridge but needed to be rerouted last summer when it was determined the bridge wasn't safe.
